Scott Lewis achieves FDIS Diploma in Fire Doors

We are pleased to announce that Scott Lewis has achieved his Diploma in Fire Doors. The Diploma is awarded by the Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS), a joint venture launched in 2012 by the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) and the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI).

Fire doors are a major part of any fire strategy. Since 2006 the law places an obligation on building operators to ensure fire and escape doors are installed correctly and are under a sustained, suitable and sufficient inspection and maintenance program.
