    • Topscan rebrands to Sircle

      Topscan rebrands to Sircle in January, launching new Project Management and Contract Administration services at the same time.

    • Officially awarded RICS status

      Having worked to RICS standards for a number of years, we are officially awarded RICS status, giving clients further assurance that the services we offer to them are being provided to a consistent and recognised standard of excellence.

    • Anthony Walker joins Topscan

      Anthony Walker joins as a Board Director in July to lead Fire Safety, Project Management and Building Surveying services

    • Chad Coombes joins the Board

      Chad Coombes, who started with us in 2008, joins the Board as Sales and Marketing Director.

    • Julia Kemp made Managing Director

      Julia Kemp, who joined in 2003, takes over as Managing Director of the company.

    • First measured survey

      We undertake our first measured surveys at Shelley Manor in Bournemouth and the Royal Marines in Poole.

    • Topscan launches

      Alisdair Lamplugh launches Topscan, as we were known then, delivering document scanning and CAD services to M&E contractors on the south coast of England.

  • 1957
    • First image scanner developed

      The first image scanner developed for use with a computer was built at the US National Bureau of Standards by a team led by Russell A. Kirsch. The first image ever scanned on this machine, known as a Drum Scanner, was a 5 cm square photograph of Kirsch’s three-month-old son. The black and white image had a resolution of 176 pixels.
