The Role

• Provide specialist advice, project management, and technical support
• Conduct Fire Safety Surveying Services and assessments
• Work closely with the Compliance Manager to deliver client fire safety projects

Key responsibilities

To deliver the full range of Fire Safety surveying services, which include:

• Passive fire safety surveying
• Site-based inspections of fire protection measures
• Pre and post-work inspections
• Fire Risk Assessments and reviews
• Provide fire safety advisory services for client property portfolios
• Prepare reports highlighting remedial actions and solutions
• Assist with estimate and bid writing
• Manage associate surveyors and client projects
• Ensure health and safety compliance on all projects
• Contribute to the operational and commercial performance of fire safety services
• Collaborate across the business to ensure integrated service delivery
• Assist with operational software use and provide recommendations
• Coordinate inspection and remedial work programs with clients
• Use strategic software solutions for surveys and assessments
• Work with the CAD team on fire compartmentation plans
• Develop and deliver broader compliance services

Essential Skills and Experience

• Understanding of Fire Safety Regulatory Reform Order 2005
• Knowledge of UK Fire Safety legislation and regulations
• Experience in passive fire protection industry
• Strong technical delivery and project management skills
• Proficiency in compliance-based technology
• Business development experience
• Clean driving license
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong customer focus and ability to build long-term relationships

Qualifications

• Relevant Surveying, Asset Management or Construction Qualification.
• Must have membership to the IFE or IFSM · Desirable IFSM CRFAR/TRFAR or FRACS accredited.
• FDIS, ASFP, IFE Level 3 Passive Fire Protection or equivalent qualifications are desirable.

Desirable Experience

• Broader knowledge of statutory compliance and related legislation
• Knowledge and passion for the use of technology to gather fire safety information.
