Sircle is an RICS-registered firm, and we use Artificial Intelligence (AI) carefully and responsibly in delivering our services. AI supports our staff; it does not replace their professional judgement or responsibility.

1. Are you required to follow any rules when using AI?
Yes. Sircle is an RICS‑registered firm and we follow the RICS global professional standard on the responsible use of AI in surveying practice. This standard sets clear expectations for safe, ethical and transparent AI use.

2. Does AI replace your surveyors or consultants?
No. AI supports our people; it does not replace them. Humans stay in charge – our staff review, interpret and remain fully responsible for any AI‑assisted work.

We do not use AI tools to make final decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. Where advice could have legal or significant consequences, it is always based on human professional judgement.

5. How do you make sure AI outputs are accurate and fair?
Any AI‑generated content or analysis is reviewed and, if needed, corrected by our staff before we rely on it. 

6. Do you use my data to train AI systems?
No. We do not use your confidential information or personal data to train public AI models. Where we use AI, we focus on tools and settings that respect confidentiality and data protection.

7. Who is allowed to use AI tools within Sircle?
We keep our AI‑related policies, an AI system register and an AI risk register under regular review to make sure we stay in line with the RICS standard.

8. Can I ask you not to use AI on my instruction?
In many cases, yes. If you would prefer that we do not use AI on a particular instruction, please tell us. We will discuss what is feasible while still meeting quality, legal and regulatory requirements, and the potential impact this will have on the fee and programme.
